I tried this one two ways. The first one was right out of the shower and then let it air dry and then right before blow drying it. Both ways my hair felt so smooth and silky. I usually stay away from leave in products such as this because they have the tendency to weigh down my hair however this does nothing like that! It nourishes my hair without any heaviness and I love that it protects my hair from UV rays too.
The scent is soft and fresh and it dissipate within a few minutes so don’t worry if you are sensitive to scent. The texture is a lightweight cream blends into the hair without any heaviness or tackiness and it leaves my hair feeling fresh and bouncy for days.
Love this so much and will be repurchasing the full size!
I’ve received the Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield from ChickAdvisor to try for free. I’ve applied it both on damp hair before blow drying it and after blow dried. I felt like it helps quite a lot with the frizz and leaves my hair very shiny full and healthy looking. I didn’t notice any effect on the color protection since it requires a longer term use. It’s a good leave-in I would recommend this to a friend and likely buy it again.
