HydraSplash Hydrating Conditioner

I have dealt with drier hair for just about as long as I can remember and while I do have a decent amount of hair it’s finer in texture. Most products designed for dry hair end up being too heavy and can leave my hair looking flat lifeless and sometimes greasy. I am super happy to report that this conditioner did none of those things. The lighter texture doesn’t feel like it will be more hydrating than your average formula but it magically is. I find my hair feels much more hydrated when using this (in combination with the shampoo from this range) and that I still have the same volume and bounce I normally do. I love that the lighter texture is also easy to rinse out and doesn’t take ages to feel completely gone.

I heard about Joico first from my hair dresser who is actually a Joico educator. He always spoke highly of the brand and I actually heard about this new line coming out before it was launched. I was super excited to hear that I would get to try it out. While I am used to using a different Joico line this line is just as great as the others. I usually use a mask as a conditioner but he recommended that I swap between the two and my hair has never felt silkier!

Honestly I only used it once. Why? because the fragrance is so strong it gave me a headache to keep using these products all together. I’ve used a lot of joico products but it seems very hit and miss with the fragrance. Though it doesn’t smell bad its just too strong. I brought it up last time i reviewed their products also. My hair dresser also mentioned it’s the reason he doesn’t use their products anymore. Tone it down.

The condition it self was quite light weight and i felt more like you were but hyaluronic acid (often in moisturizers for your face) in you hair which is very cool. I might continue to use it with my regular shampoo. I just wouldn’t use it in combination with other product in the line. I didn’t see any dramatic differences after washing once but even using all the products form this line together my hair didn’t feel weighed down and i have quite fine hair but a lot of it.
