I received this shampoo free from Chickadvisor for my thoughts. I have fine hair and during the winter definitely need some added moisture. This shampoo has that pleasant salon product smell without the price! It made my hair softer and healthier looking in just the first use without weighing it down at all. I can be sensitive to over fragranced products but this shampoo left my hair smelling salon fresh and not perfume-y. It did lather up quite easily thanks to the SLS. Some shampoo can leave your hair feeling stripped but this one didn’t at all. I only wash my hair every few days but this shampoo left my hair feeling great between washes.
The shampoo was the first product from the Joico Hydrasplash line and I remember really liking the texture. I also remember that it foamed up quite nicely while washing and that it has a very nice scent. The smell actually reminds me of this perfume I had as a young teen but that I can’t remember the name of. It’s very fresh and maybe very slightly floral? But anyway my hair felt clean after using the shampoo and it also felt smoother than before.
My hair feels very soft but I have used cheaper drugstore brands that give me the same effect. Depending on the price point as joico tends to be pricier it may not be the best value for money when cheaper options work just as well. I’m looking forward to using this up and will keep my eyes out for the cost and would consider repurchasing!
the shampoo cleans fine hair without dry it. The smell is amazing. I don’t really like the blue colour but that is just a detail. O would definitely buy it.
