Joico has been my go-to hair care brand for years I’ve loved every single one of their collections and the Hydra Splash line is no exception. The shampoo in the collection is incredibly gentle. it doesn’t lather much but gets hair clean and looking healthy and not dry and dull like stripping shampoos. It smells lovely and is great for daily use!

I was selected to try the JOICO HYDRASPLASH HYDRATING SHAMPOO from ChickAdvisor for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I was blown away. My fine hair needs all the help it can get in the winter time when it comes to hydration and I was excited to try my first ever product from JOICO. I used the shampoo in tandem with the entire Hydrasplash line and I was beyond impressed.
The smell of the shampoo is a nice change for me in which it smells more like mans cologne then it does the normal fruity and floral scents I am used to. My boyfriend even commented that he loved the smell. A little bit of the shampoo goes a long way and it lathers into the hair smoothly and evenly. It washes out super easy and leaves the hair smelling incredible up until the next wash (for me that is 3 days later).
After using the shampoo a handful of times I noticed that my hair was significantly more hydrated and soft to the touch. My hair feels and looks so nourished and clean. I love their ‘SmartRelease Technology’ which continuously releases the goods (Rosehip Oil Arginine and Keratin) to help protect your hair from styling damage. I have never heard of this technology before and I am convinced it makes the world of a difference in how healthy my hair looks and feels.
The only negative is I find that the bottle is a little hard to squeeze. I wish that they would have made the shampoo bottle as easy to use as the conditioner bottle. Other than that this is an amazing product and I will continue to purchase this shampoo and entire HydraSplash line in the future.
